I seem to remember reading a thread on this forum of someone installing one on the Spark, you will have to dig it up though :) A quick search for backup camera turned out this one http://www.mychevysparkev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=3576&p=18397&hilit=backup+camera#p18397 Beside Wireless...

One-touch Up / Down window controls

Part of the frustration is also sometimes that when we want to stop the windows from going all the way down, we tend to pull on the button which then makes it go up, instead of pressing down again to stop the down motion. Once you get use to pressing Down + Down to only go down a bit, it becomes...

    Battery does condition w/o plug

I have a 2014 and am in the SF Bay area, and I dont think I have seen conditioning, apart may be once in winter. I really dont think that the temperature gets extreme enough here. Also remember the battery pack is different on the 2014 and the 2015 +, so it may not need the same level of...

    New buyer.

I would think the Sparks are probably as low as they will get given the car is no longer produced and the Bolt has been released where the Sparks were sold. As far as charging, it all depends on your intended use of the car. The nominal range is around 80 miles, could be more or less depending...

    Not noticing any difference.

    Battery does condition w/o plug

Canceling the charge only does that, the car is still plugged into power, and will draw current from there for any conditioning operation. Charging and conditioning are independent, canceling one does not cancel the other.

    List your miles and MPGe

Things to consider: Have you had the car from the start, or did it have a previous owner? They could have had a different driving style. Do you live in a place where you have to use the heater and or the AC a lot during some month? If so that would also mean, the battery conditioning could be...

    Battery does condition w/o plug

I am pretty sure that if plugged in, the battery TMS will run if needed regardless of whether you are charging or not. As long as the car is plugged in, it can use the power from the grid to run conditioning, and not deplete the battery. So if the battery needs any kind of care under that...

What is being offered at end of lease?

$8100 for 20k miles is not a bad offer. No harm in bargaining, but she could settle for 8k including tax :)

Original Ecopia 195 tires no longer available?

I just put on a pair of Firestone Champion fuel fighters in the front, and so far I see no range degradation.

    Electric bike topics/parts

For and urban/ light trail bike, if you have 1000W of power assist, I think the benefits outweigh (no pun intended) the downside. If you want a mountain bike for agressive off road riding, then I can see an IGH being more appropriate. But I definitely dont want any derailleur on my Ebike :)

Automatic shifting is another great advancement. Battery does condition w/o plug

"I read a few posts here that said the battery conditioning doesn't come on unless its plugged in. This isn't true. " As far as I know it comes on whenever plugged OR ON and needed. So it will definitely come on in winter and summer when the car is running if the battery is too cold or too hot...

Very interesting indeed, I dd not know Bafang had a Kit motor with Torque sensing. Sounds pretty nice and easy to install! One confusion, is that in most places I see it labeled 350W 36V battery, but the seller link you mentioned 500W and 48V battery. Do you know if it is a newer version, or...

Quick way to check battery when buying used Spark?

The BBS02 and BBSHD did not have torque sensing, but the new Bafang Max and Max Ultramotor do. They have an integrated Torque + Cadence + Speed sensing, similar to the bosch type of integrated drive, but with more power. The Bafang Max is rated 350W with a peak of 750W and an 80nm torque The...

Quick way to check battery when buying used Spark?

The guys at Flx ebikes now have a bike based on the new Bafang Ultramotor 1000W (1600W peak) mid drive, with integrated Torque and speed sensor. https://flx.bike/shop/flx-blade/ Their other bikes are also now using the 350W (750W peak) integrated Bafang Max mid drive, which also has...

Quick way to check battery when buying used Spark?

If you decide you are OK with the lowest price they offered, you can always go back and accept that, assuming the car is still available. If a dealer was OK with a price, they will normally honor their last offer. They want the car off their lot. In the unlikely event they would actually try...
