I picked my 2014 up when it had 9500 miles on it (I paid $9500 in a cool coincidence). Now I've got 90,000 miles on it and have really enjoyed the car! Have saved thousands of $$!

That's quite the impressive transformation. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around how all that could be done for $900 (or was that the acquisition cost?). In the end, was it worth doing?

Curious what you paid for the salvage rights and what it cost to get to operating condition . . .

    The Spark Saga (final)

Sad day. I'm still driving my 2014 Spark to and from work. I don't think it will ever die mechanically. The big ticking bomb is the battery. I know one day it will die and I'm regretting the day it does. I bought mine when it had 9,500 miles on it (paid $9,500 USD). It now has just shy of 90,000...

Start a 100k mile club for Spark?

I'm approaching 90K in my 2014. Only maintenance has been: 12V battery, tires, battery coolant, replace windshield wiper blades (difficult to find proper match). It's been a really fun car!

Is the Chevy Spark EV one of the most economical electric vehicles out there?

My 2014's range lists at 64 miles when fully charged. In reality I get about 40 miles, which gets me to and from my office, part freeway, part surface street driving, and with the AC on (Vegas is hot). In the winter I use heated seats, not heat pump, to keep me from freezing. Also wear a jacket...

I purchased a 2014 Spark EV through the internet (just saw pictures) after a friend purchased one. I thought it would make a great work commuter car, and it has been! I paid $9,500 when it had 9500 miles on it. Now it has 82,000 and is doing great! Some friends and family call it my clown car...

    Pressure sensor location?

I haven't fully traced the HVAC lines, but I'd like to find the refrigerant pressure sensor location. I think it is bad. I get a general error light on the dash. OBD code says coolant issue, but the AC still blows cold. I checked pressure and it seems to be within range for the 1234yf coolant...
