Was there a software update for 2015 Spark EV?
This week my trip reporting freaked out.
I was had driven about 12mi off of a full charge (68mi) then my trip mileage started to increase as I drove.
By the time I had stopped it climbed to 140mi left and the average for the trip was 51.1mi/kWh.

Do I need to take it in for service or is there a way to factory reset the entire front panel?
or is there a sensor that is out.
thanks in advance

When I drove a long downhill (about 4 miles) and regen was far more than energy out of the battery, I also saw 51.1 mi/kWh. It seems that's the maximum it will go, which is probably 9 bit number. See screen shot in my blog post.

If your drive did not have much regen and it showed that number, you should take it to the dealer ASAP, maybe even get it towed. If the car doesn't sense energy out of the battery while it senses the speed, it would think it's moving without expending energy and you'd max out mi/kWh. In that case, you could end up with empty battery, and car may not know about it.
