I was using the DCFC in downtown Portland today, a couple of questions arose:

While charging, I opened the door to retrieve something and set off the alarm. In fact, even after I'd finished parking and unplugged, the alarm went off when I opened the door. How to avoid ?

I was surrounded by a gaggle of Leafs, and watching one charge it was charging at a much slower rate than I was. Does a Leaf fast charge much slower than a Spark?

How to avoid setting off the alarm? Don't turn it on, or turn it off before opening the door. Thee alarm does not sound when opening the door of the car when its unlocked, even if its plugged in to a DCQC.

I've experienced the same thing related to charging rates with Leafs. Seems like the Spark EV charges faster than the Leafs on DCQC. But it could just be that they were closer to topping off, and I was nearly empty. The charge rate varies with how full the battery is.
