Need Repair info on a stuck rear hatch door on 2014 Spark EV

Can someone please direct me to the thread on fixing a stuck rear hatch door. Or post the fix. Thanks!!! (No damage to the Hatch, it just got 'stuck ' in locked position.

2014 Spark EV, Owned since new. Put in service June 2015. 83,000 miles. 14 kWh Capacity remaining. Lifetime efficiency 5 miles/kWh
 
If memory serves, I think you can access the latch through this little door. I'll be working on my car tomorrow, so I'll take a look.

Ok, so the latch has a little finger tab that you can pull to pop the hatch, even if it's locked. There's a gap to get your finger in, and you pull it towards you.

Search YouTube. I found videos to open and then fix the latch.
 
Thanks REvans... Randy 960 got the procedure to open and now I will look for the 'fix' on Youtube!
 
there's a little plastic hook thing that pops right back in. expect it to pop out again at some point because it does so too easily. it is a theft prevention measure
