    Misconceptions about SparkEVs

I can just imagine that :ugeek: I guess you could create a "dummy" filler neck some place under the hood, but then you'd have to label it "For the Dummies" :o

    Psychology of Range Anxiety article

:) Well, I had that problem just once with each Mrs. and the Miss, recommended them to call AAA and have them take care of it. After that, knock on wood, they are really paying attention when it approaches the 1/4 tank and probably once a year have the warning light on.

    Psychology of Range Anxiety article

I disagree, it also depends on where geographically people live at and how "comfortable" they feel if they get stranded (the whole point of the article I guess). I lived in Midwest for a long time and personally have known just one person there that would let the tank go to "light on". With...

    Xtreme Spark EV Hyper-Milling Trip

Thanks, That's what I would have done as well.

    2015 Spark no longer 21-kWh and now 19 ???

Haha, I was silly to open another thread just for these "save or not save the planet" discussions, yet we are back here discussing the same thing that we kind of agreed to drop discussing  The "Saving the Planet" statement could be misconstrued as an arrogant, on other thought would...

spark ev wont say ready and wont run after small collision

I second that, if the air bag was deployed, there was "enough" reasons for it to do so. My son (who actually put me up to buying the Spark) calls new cars PCs on wheels. You must have the insurance on the car, right? Why not to proceed as the process was intended to, by towing it to the dealer.

    Global warming and Spark EV

Deal, I agree to disagree all day long, but... I was actually hoping to get you and maybe others to agree that car exhaust etc. is bad for the air we end up breathing, regardless of global or non-global warming. If not, oh well

    Programming a new key fob

Why don't you make them come to you instead? It was/still kind of is, their problem of loosing the key fob. Why should you spend your hard earned KWts driving to them and waiting... I also suspect that Volt forum may be a better help to you on this, if the dealer does not come through. It's been...

    Bosch EVSE For Sale

Unless you must have the 240V charging on day one you have the vehicle, I'd just wait till you lease the car and then decide/order/buy the EVSE Due to my "extreme luck", my Bosch order was delayed, so I am still charging from 110V. Not stoked about it, but still works.

Flat cargo area with seats folded down or no?

I second that, decided to buy all bunch of stuff from Home Depot, forgetting I had the smallest car from the "fleet". Surprised myself and the guy from the store, as how much space was still available after the loading.

Thank you for the report. I am wondering if you were regenning in D or L?

    Global warming and Spark EV

Interesting that you mention this... The same applies to the human nature that makes us to refuse to see what's in front of us becasue we are already convinced that there is only ONE truth, of course - OURS... The solution for this condition would be to try to have an open mind and at least...

    Latest Lease Offer--Your Opinions Please

I don't know how to compare the 15k and 12k lease, other than by mileage penalties but... this seems to be too high to me. I am paying $214 for 36mo and under $1k down. Extra $16 a mo, puts you almost at $600 extra payment. If you wanted to buy in the first place, why are you even considering...

    Global warming and Spark EV

I get it buickanddeere, you are very technical and can understand all the stuff you are referencing, hopefully. I don't, but I do know from my personal experience - the ICE exhaust stinks, literally and figuratively speaking, even if it uses catalytic converter. Let's say that CO2 has...

Stabilitrak seems over-sensitive? Any way to disable?

Hey, thanks for the update SanDiego! I dislike (least to say) the Ecopias as well and suspected that suspension could do much better with a grippier set of tires. The first time I noticed Stabilitrak kick in, it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, but I am slowly getting used to it. I...

Stabilitrak seems over-sensitive? Any way to disable?

Thanks for posting it here SanDiego, I am wondering if you felt any change of the ride harshness or smoothness? I know usually there is a trade off from a better handling.

    Airbag recall

Yea, just reminding that GM was either not aware or not willing to be aware of the the ignition switch problem on Cobalt etc. for almost a decade....

    Global warming and Spark EV

I don't quite understand what you are trying to say. Are you saying there is a global warming and methane and such are causing it to get worse than the CO2 emissions or you are saying the 93 million miles away thingy is causing temperature changes? I think I do understand what you are saying...

    I love my Spark EV

Same here, love it so much that I prefer driving it to any other car I have, even if it gives me a little range anxiety...

    Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura

Cool, thanks, it is a pretty good deal. I am not big on the black or dark colors in general to begin with and valued the DC charger, that in fact may or may not prove to be useless, more than 2LT options. I am paying $214mo including tax, so whopety-do I am saving ~ $630 over the term of the...
