For those that are still looking for a Chevy Spark EV since they're not really available anymore, I may have an interesting proposition for you.

I currently have 31 months left in the lease and have 32000 miles remaining. I haven't been driving it as much as I'd thought and have other vehicle obligations. I did a one pay lease so it is completely paid off. New lessor needs to pay $595 transfer fee and be approved by GM even though there will be no payments to them. New lessor and I can agree on an amount to take the car.

Just a thought.

I think you'll find that GM Financial has prohibited out of state transfers, so it would be helpful if you'd state which state you live in. (but given the numbers, it's probably California)

It's also helpful if you give the residual/buyout price, for those who think they may want to keep the car after the lease is over.

I feel sorry for the guy who is in the process of assuming this lease, given the deal he could have gotten on a new lease:

Great questions. I am in California. Residual is just around $11k if I remember correctly, will check my sheet tonight. That guy got owned.

Other than the transfer fee payable to GM, I think I can be bought out very cheaply compared to a dealer

Carpool stickers are already on the car as well.

1LT or 2LT? DCFC? What color? Norcal or Socal?

My 2014 goes back in a few days. I've been planning to hold out for a Bolt, but my go into EV withdrawal and need a fix.

White 2LT with DCFC in Socal. I guess GM won't let me transfer till 6 months past lease start, that will be end of October. I'm only looking for $2k + 595 transfer fee to take over lease.

I'm in SoCal and could be interested.

But I need to know the numbers.

I sent you a PM.

I am looking at some leases in Socal also. Let me know if you're still up for getting out of your lease come the end of October :)
