Crazy Door Locks

Has anyone else had their door lacks repeatedly unlock and lock over and over
When trying to unlock with the fob ?
At first I thought it was a voltage issue,
The 12V battery was reading 12.3 when the locks were acting up, and was over 4 years old. So I bought a new one. (Expensive)
It still does it, but mostly when cold in the morning, and not after the weather has warmed up. I’m in S. CA so it’s not that cold.
What’s going on ? ?

My 2014 Spark started doing this. I switched to the second key fob I have and it now only does it VERY sporadically now. Notsure what's really causing it. BTW, I usually only get 24-31 months from an auxiliary battery. Not good in my opinion. Years ago I'd get 4-5 years from a battery.
