There is the 25kw BMW i DC Fast Charger solution that supports Spark EV's SAE Combo 1 plug. Only problem is that it looks like it is only available with 3 phase AC input

Yes, we've discussed this a bunch here before, including on a thread from a year ago: http://www.mychevysparkev.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=9090.

NORTON,
I found out why EMW will not or cannot create a CCS solution for their power source. The CCS uses the SAE J1772/IEC standard, similar to European IEC61851. This is a GreenPHY PLC (power line communications) smart grid protocol that is far more complicated than the one Chademo uses. Special expertise is needed to code and develop the SAE J1772/IEC compliant communications. Still a more informative reply would have been preferred "We do not, at this time." does not say if they will, they won't or are in development now.

Found a $7K DCFC home (possible) solution:

Awesome! Only that's more than half of what I paid for my used Spark EV.
And it requires 100 Amp service, so for me that means powering my house or this DCFC 24 kW unit.

A link in the above article shows that this unit is made by Efacec. This is the company that makes the 13 DCFC units in my town.
They are rated at 50 kW and are as big as a refrigerator. How can this wall mounted unit have half the power?

What's the big hurry? Where are you going so much in this 82 mile rated BEV?
I think I'll live with a home 3.3 kW L2. Plus all the free L2's and DCFC sites that are close to me.

Oh, and good luck getting EMW to show any interest..
