hitch?

I bought a CURT 11334 rack that amazon says fits the car but I'm having a hard time believing it fits with that diffuser on the car. Has anyone installed a hitch on your spark ev? I'm just trying to be able to easily transport my wifes bike which is 72" tire end to tire end the same length as my elliptigo 72" edge to edge which means probably a 60" wheelbase.(center to center of wheel) I might have to send this back to amazon.

I spend hours and hours on research to find out I didn't read the one statement that would have saved me from so much wasted time, ugh! (the review on amazon site for this thing even says it don't fit the EV but they gave it 4 stars so I passed it up without noticing this!) And the thread that helped me see this before I tear the car apart and the box with the useless hitch in it lol.
