Instrument Cluster Display shuts off with car

In my 2016 car, suddenly and sporadically, the main dashboard display and the radio sound itself all immediately shut off when I park and turn off the car. Obviously, these are supposed to remain illuminated and operational until the driver opens the door. I can't seem to recreate the problem deliberately. Usually, when I drive, park, and then turn off the car, all systems remain up as they are intended. But I'd say roughly 5-10% of the time I've driven the car in the last couple of weeks, this instantaneous shut-off has occurred. Ideas?

Does the dome light come on when it happens?

IF so, the driver's side door switch may be intermittent.

I don't believe the dome light comes on, but this is a good thing to pay attention to and follow up on if it happens. Thank you!

IF so, the driver's side door switch may be intermittent.

Unless you have the dome light turned off. Make sure it's set to "door actuated".
