Remove Bowtie Logo

Looking to remove the bowtie logo and replace it with something else. Normally i have used dental floss to swipe under emblems in my other cars and it comes right off. Will this technique work on the spark?

Do a forum search for details, but there are bolts/screws you'll need remove prior to the dental floss for the bow-tie. It's like they don't want us taking them off... [ ;

laquer thinner took about 7 min
urthane is unafected by laqure thinner wax when done

I finally got going on repairing my daughter's "pick-up incident" damage. Turns out that in addition to the adhesive pads, the bowtie is clipped into the bumper cover and secured by two screws. Here's a back side view.
