Replacing antenna circuit

Hello, I just purchased a 2016 lt2 and just love the thing! Only issue so far is thr really poor radio reception. I also have that CAL indicator lit up, leading me to believe that the antenna Amp board is starting to suffer from a water leak.I will at a minimum just disconnect the wires for now to prevent radio issuesI have read about.
I would love to get reception running again in the near future though
I have read of sourcing the circuit from a 2016 spark, even the ICE variant, and swapping it out but it seems a bit costly. Can anyone suggest an aftermarket optionon the cheap that would work? No need for that OnStar madness, just radio reception.

I've noticed that my Kenwood mechless head units seem to have decent radio reception, even without a proper antenna. I had a similar experience with my S-10 when the antenna was damaged. I'm expecting a pair of Pioneer MVH-S720BHS head units soon, which are known for their excellent tuners.
