Hello - new owner of a 2015 Chevy Spark EV and I've been having issues with a metal clunking noise every time I go over a bump. It seems to be emanating from the rear driver side wheel well but a mechanic and the dealership have spent hours on it and eliminated all the expected root causes (brakes, suspension, etc). At this point, the dealer thinks it is between the battery and the frame and would need to drop the battery down from the vehicle to find out (tool left inside? Loose cell? They honestly have no idea). Of course, this will cost $1300 unless it somehow ends up being a battery problem covered by warranty.
Has anyone had a similar problem by chance? Ideas? I purchased it used from a different Chevy dealer so my plan is to go back to them and escalate until they can resolve it.
Thanks.
