No more FitEV or RAV4 EV?

First, understand that the credits are issued by California ARB, not EPA (USA federal government). All the 80-90 mile range EPA cars have been tested on the EPA 5 cycle test starting in 2012, however the LEAF came out in 2011 with "100 mile" range... based on the previous LA4 "city cycle"...

No more FitEV or RAV4 EV?

Your reaction is why I hammer this stuff home for folks in the EV game... Here's an older chart that has been revised slightly (they took away "fast refueling" for battery swapping): Type V - 300+ miles range "hydrogen" - Credit per vehicle: 9 (2015-2017 only) Type V - 300+ miles range "fast...

Anyone actually KNOW anyone at GM and can get True info ?

You aren't getting the message if you continue the attacks. STOP, LIKE YOU WERE TOLD TO. Thanks, Tony

No more FitEV or RAV4 EV?

Both the Rav4 EV and Honda Fit EV were specifically intended for only model years 2012 - 2014 California Air Resources Board - Zero Emission Vehicle (CARB-ZEV) compliance. Those companies successfully lobbied CARB to get enhanced credits for hydrogen cars, therefore for model years 2015 - 2017...

That's very noble of you. Perhaps this is the end of your tirade. I can only hope. Tony

Fiat 500e owners on full attack mode.

So sweet coming from a common punk like you. You must be a joy on other forums, just like here, eh?

I agree with the novel idea of moderation. Yes, I'll be happy to call you stupid, since you asked. And immature, like several others. It's ok, except the same vocal group constantly turn every thread into a pissing contest. I'm confident someone who is admittedly stupid won't wake up one day and...

BMW and Bosch just came up with an $6500 DC fast charger.

Only about 24kW, but a far more viable alternative to no charger at all. Unfortunately, these were designed with 277/480 volt three phase power, and that is not what is typical at a car dealership. Those will have 208 volt service. So, it won't be cheap or easy to install.

Fiat 500e owners on full attack mode.

This coming from you? Excuse me while I laugh my ass off !!!!! Yes, the Volt forum is hostile, in my opinion, to anything not pro-GM. I suspect this forum will ultimately slither into that cesspool of folks like you.

Anyone actually KNOW anyone at GM and can get True info ?

Thanks for enlightening us. Post reported. Hopefully, you, and the several of your not-so-pleasant buddies will also "rarely come here". I, on the other hand, enjoy talking about EV's, so I think I'll stay. Maybe you'll go? My fingers are crossed for good luck for those of us that really don't...

Anyone actually KNOW anyone at GM and can get True info ?

I have actually ridden in the Kia Soul EV, and we have had it charging on our CHAdeMO charger in San Juan Capistrano, California since at least July 2013. Yes, Kia is going to sell battery electric compliance cars and Hyundai will sell hydrogen ones.

Anyone actually KNOW anyone at GM and can get True info ?

Not a surprise post on this forum. It truly is like dealing with rabidly immature kids. Your post has been reported to moderators. By the way, GM isn't going to be selling new Spark EV's in non-regulatory markets any more than Honda, Toyota, and a whole bunch of other companies are going to...

Anyone actually KNOW anyone at GM and can get True info ?

The six "Large Vehicle Manufacturers", including GM, have been required since 2012 model year to comply with California Air Resources Board - Zero Emission Vehicle regulations, each using the following car for compliance: 1) Ford - Focus EV (going to hydrogen for model year 2015 compliance)...

No holes that I can see, except he seems to think he should get his state's hand out for his out-of-state purchase, which seems to be the singular hang-up from buying out-of-state. I'll repeat from the other nearly identical thread started by the same poster: GM isn't likely to sell their...

    DC Quick Charge Times?

You would have to dig that info out of the CAN bus. The LEAF CAN bus has been fully cracked open, so we can see all that data.

I had previously suggested the exact same recourse in the previous thread he started with the same question. I guess if you don't like the answer, you just keep asking, eh?

    My ReFuel TT experience

The LEAF didn't have a power limit / heating issue, but the Tesla Roadster and BMW ActiveE were particularly bad. I don't know what the Rav4 EV will do, but I suspect the same as your Model S.
